Chunjiang Mingyue: A Sales Center Inspired by Eastern Aesthetics

Abandoning complex formalism and returning to the essence of residence, the Chunjiang Mingyue sales center stands out with its simplicity and elegance. The space utilizes simple color matching, high-end furniture materials, and ingenious spatial sequence planning to construct a transparent and pure open layout. It is a modern space that retains the timeless and elegant Chinese design.

The chandelier above the sand table is a standout feature of the sales center. Inspired by the Chinese seal, it adopts a height scattered form with crystal clear glass material to increase the sense of transparency. Coupled with professional lighting, it exudes dignity and elegance.

In order to provide customers with a better experience, the furniture in the negotiation area is carefully selected. Armchairs with excellent sitting comfort are placed on both sides of the sand table. Special metal components are designed at the junction of wooden armrests, adding exquisiteness and firmness.

The overall layout of the Chunjiang Mingyue sales center presents the scale of the space in a symmetrical manner. The bar in the negotiation area not only meets the needs of the original service functions but also becomes a visual contrast. The warm and comfortable beige and gray-green leather is matched with a white running water marble coffee table, enhancing the overall experience of the sofa area.

The Chunjiang Mingyue sales center was completed in 2020 in Dezhou, Shangdong, China. The design team, led by Tina Wong, aimed to create a delicate, harmonious, and eye-catching space that is peaceful and elegant, soothing the senses and satisfying people's emotional needs.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was breaking away from traditional design norms. The team extended the Oriental understanding of shape and space, combining artistic furnishings and natural images of mountains and stones to create a free landscape within the space. The colors adopted in the paintings also influenced the color matching of the overall space, resulting in an artistic atmosphere that promotes self-cultivation.

The Chunjiang Mingyue sales center is a fusion of modern techniques and Eastern culture. Low and comfortable furniture is combined with bonsai and small sceneries to convey Eastern aesthetics and a casual lifestyle. This design showcases an eclectic Oriental spirit, using reinforced concrete to build mountains and rivers in a blessed city with a rich natural landscape.

The Chunjiang Mingyue sales center was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes designs that exhibit outstanding creativity and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
